10 shows to binge watch during winter break

With winter break upon us, it’s a good time to start planning out which shows to add to your binge-watching list. Rather than scrolling through hundreds of shows on Netflix and seeing lots of different choices, why not start here? These 10 shows might not be as popular as “Game of Thrones” or “Stranger Things,” but they’re definitely worth checking out.

“How to Get Away with Murder”

Plot: As you watch this show, you might be thinking that you recognize these characters from somewhere, and that’s because the show is based on Archie Comics. The residents of the small town of Riverdale have secrets which unravel after the death of a local teen. As they try to find out who killed him, Archie and his friends become entangled in a dark mystery.

“Suits”

Plot: A corporate lawyer at a big firm takes a chance and hires a college dropout as his associate without telling anyone that he didn’t actually go to law school. Every time they go to court, they make enemies and their secret gets harder to hide.

“The 100”

Genre: Science fiction, drama, dystopian, action

Plot: This show is unlike any other. It is a post-apocalyptic science-fiction drama about people living in 12 different space stations because they think that Earth is no longer a safe place. As years go by and people start having more kids than recommended, they think of a plan to test out if Earth is habitable by sending 100 kids to see if they can survive.

“Insecure”
