Her mother's political sketches, which inspired McDevitt's paintings, were created to be starting points for conversations on values and how to better society. McDevitt wants her gallery viewers to leave thinking more about their surroundings and what their community, large or small, could benefit from. The exhibition will be displayed from April 17-20 at the Student Union Gallery.
