peasant burning weeds AT A PARTY
A forgotten Van
Gogh propped on
velvet plush gold
Antoinette
posh seating – it’s
a party for
the luxeguests learning ballet,
swing dance, pussyfoot
on hardwood tiling
gelid to the warm embrace
skinned heels rubbed against permafrost
waltz for a TikTok
but the man- a black silhouette,
burns weeds in the
backdrop
for resonance
in a silent foray
crackles as harmonious beats
for whirls of frocks and haute couture
