Sam and Emilee are back to bring you their favorite recipes and health hacks! In this week’s episode, the girls share the best ways to save money on groceries, the pathogenic problems with washing meats and what got Emilee banned from dating apps.

Sam’s Pumpkin Spice Baked Oats

-1 can pumpkin purée
-1 egg
-1/3 cup brown sugar
-1/3 cup raisins (optional)
1/4 cup coconut or avocado oil
-3 scoops protein powder
-2 cups of oats
-2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
-1 cup milk or water
-1 tbs baking powder
Instructions:

  1. preheat oven to 400 deg Fahrenheit
  2. optional but recommended: blend half of the oats into a flour
  3. combine all wet ingredients except for milk in a bowl with spices and raisins.
  4. stir in dry ingredients until fully incorporated.
  5. Pour enough milk in to thin the mixture to a pancake batter consistency.
  6. Bake at 400 deg F for 60 minutes or until the middle is fully cooked.
    Optional ingredients: coconut flakes, yogurt, walnuts, chia seeds, flax, etc

Emilee’s Tuna Salad

– 1 can of cannelloni white beans
– 1/4 cup diced red onion
-1/2 a lemon, juiced
– 2 tsp capers
-1/4 cup of halved cherry tomatoes
-1-2 cans of white meat tuna
-2 stocks of celery, diced
– 1/4 cup of oil of choice

Instructions:

  1. Mix lemon juice and oil with salt and pepper
  2.  Mix other ingredients and pour dressing on top
