In Photos: UMass’ Social Innovation Conference
The event on March 30 hosted social entrepreneurs and professors from around the country.
On March 30 at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, the UMass Social Entrepreneurship Club hosted the 2019 Social Innovation Conference. The event took place at the Isenberg School of Management, from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Several speakers were present to participate in live panels and presentations, including social entrepreneur Kristin Van Busum, Rise Above co-founder Wade Sulzman and Boston University professor Laurie Lane-Zucker. Some of the topics talked about were impact economy, equitable access, and social change. Students were able to walk around and check out different presentations in succession.
