Women’s Basketball: UMass dominates Hartford for second win
Strong defense leads the way for the Minutewomen
AMHERST — UMass beat Hartford 74-48 at the Mullins Center.
The Minutewomen have now improved to 2-2 on the season. Senior guard Hailey Leidel led the way in scoring with 17 points, including 3-for-6 on three-point shooting. Freshman forward Angelique Ngalakulondi also had a productive game, leading UMass with 12 rebounds.
The Minutewomen’s next game is on Nov. 21 at home against Brown.
