Introspective Ramblings: “I Miss”
Editor’s Note: Introspective Ramblings is Amherst Wire’s debut poetry column, dedicated to showcasing student’s creative work.
I Miss
Missed shots on the blacktop,
Made memories from sweat drops
Missed homework to beat moons
Made friends out of afternoons
The grass blades sat courtside
While the wind played judge
With the ball as jury
And the net as bailiff
Treated dribbles like heart beats
And rebounds as a revival
The sun as a timer
Street lights as the buzzer
